A Manifest For Everyday Life
This project was born from my transition from a crowded, hectic city to a small village embraced by nature.
The move offered me the luxury of space, stunning surroundings, and the tranquility of village life. However, it also brought unexpected challenges that imposed new external limitations on the many open-ended projects I had accumulated over the past 30 years.
Despite the visually inspiring settings—both within our home, which is undergoing renovation, and in the nature surrounding us—I found myself strangely paralyzed. The shift required time to adjust, and I had to create a new structure for this way of living. Initially, this upheaval affected my ability to focus on the work I had been pursuing for so long.
Yet, the strong urge to create—or perhaps to release the growing reservoir of stories, visuals, and sounds—kept me awake at night.
“A Manifest for Everyday Life” is my exploration into the dynamics of mundane existence and how it is designed and organized. My ultimate goal with this journey is to discover the space where everyday life, play, and art intersect.
